The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches is seeking a visionary and dynamic individual who consistently leads the organization into a new era of growth and impact. This transformational leader will drive the Chamber’s mission to foster a diverse and thriving business community through innovative initiatives, strategic partnerships and exceptional member services.
Key Priorities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Consistent with the Board’s Vision and Mission, assist in developing and implementing a forward-thinking strategic plan to position the Chamber as an advocate and catalyst for economic growth and community development in Palm Beach County.
• Advocate for business-friendly policies at local, state, and federal levels.
Innovative Program Development:
• Design and launch effective and innovative programs and events that address the evolving needs of our members and the business community.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Enhance member engagement and service delivery.
• Enhance member retention through superior and personalized engagement strategies. Utilize data-driven approaches to understand member needs and tailor services accordingly.
Member Engagement and Growth:
• Expand the Chamber’s membership base by engaging with emerging businesses and industries.
• Enhance member retention through superior member services. Financial Stewardship and Staff Development:
• Oversee the Chamber’s financial health, including budgeting, revenue generation, and financial reporting.
• Develop diverse revenue streams, including sponsorships and partnerships.
• Mentor and develop staff, including training, career path formulation and engagement.
Community and Economic Development:
• Serve as a key and trusted liaison between the business community, government agencies, and elected officials.
Public Relations and Advocacy:
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the Chamber, effectively communicating the Chamber’s vision, mission, and core values.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media, community leaders, and policymakers.
• Proactively manage the Chamber’s brand and public image through various communication channels.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role within a relevant field
• Proven track record of strategic leadership and innovation in business, nonprofit, or chamber of commerce settings
• Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and media relations skills
• Experience in board reporting is strongly desired
• Passion for community development and a deep understanding of the economic landscape of Palm Beach County, Florida, and the nation
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of political and legislative practices
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; advanced degree and relevant certifications in Nonprofit, Business, Organizational Management, or Fundraising are a plus.
