Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. In this role, you will develop and implement effective financial plans and oversee budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaborating closely with the executive team, you will foster a culture of excellence and support our mission of delivering quality healthcare while respecting cultural values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Advise senior management on financial implications of decisions affecting operations.
- Conduct financial analyses for new programs, acquisitions, and revenue management.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Health Board to set long-term financial goals and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with financial policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date.
- Manage and oversee the investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to stakeholders.
- Guide the Finance, PRC, and Business Office teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain effective communication with external auditors, regulators, and vendors.

Qualifications

- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial practices and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial databases.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in public speaking and meeting management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Indian Health Services or Tribal Organizations.
Work Environment
This role typically involves standard office conditions with a moderate noise level. Occasional health risks may be present in a healthcare setting.
Physical Demands
The position may require frequent standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, and reading are expected.
