Role Overview
In this role, you will oversee and enhance financial processes to ensure stability and growth within a supportive, people-first environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage financial processes and records for the organization.
- Maintain and update the general ledger accounting system on an accrual basis.
- Prepare daily and weekly financial statements for the CEO.
- Generate monthly financial statements for management and the Board of Directors.
- Manage cash flow and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and reports.
- Facilitate annual audits conducted by an independent CPA firm.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies and local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Prepare financial reports for grant funding sources and manage budget preparation.
- Assist the CEO in developing and analyzing the annual budget for Board approval.
- Monitor budget variations and report findings to management and the Board.
- Prepare annual reconciliations and other required financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Ohio CPA license is highly desired.
- Experience with healthcare, non-profit, or mental health/behavioral health finances is preferred.
- Proficiency with business software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
