Our client, an innovative services business, is seeking a CFO. The role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the corporation, including treasury, financial reporting, working capital management, financial strategy, and purchasing. The CFO will report to the executive leadership team and board of directors, advising on major business decisions.
This role is hybrid based out of Florida but could be remote for someone willing to commute from another state or relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Oversee cash management, budgeting, financial reporting, and asset protection.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external consultants.
- Lead mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial projections.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and external audit standards.
- Direct financial planning, analysis, and employee benefits programs.
- Provide oversight for pension plans, payroll processing, and facilities management.
- Mentor and develop future leaders within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or economics; MBA is strongly preferred. CPA required.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible financial management, at least 5 of which has been gained in a senior level functional role in a service-oriented organization that deals with a wide variety of constituents. Prefer an individual with prior experience/exposure
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical accounting skills.
- Knowledge of financial concepts, accounting pronouncements, technical accounting expertise, financial analyses, and exposure to utilization of information systems.
