Summary
Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the Human Resources Leadership Team. Utilizes a solid understanding of HR practices and principles, along with exceptional administrative skills to facilitate the advancement of HR initiatives. Collaborates with the HR team to streamline processes, evaluate options, and make informed recommendations to drive the HR agenda.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the HR team to outline processes, procedures, and best practices to support the achievement of HR objectives. Assists with the development and implementation of HR policies.
Compiles HR data and conducts research and analysis to evaluate various HR initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations accordingly.
Assist with HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and delivery of key milestones.
Manage CHRO’s calendar and conduct proactive research prior to meetings, curate pertinent materials, and compile agendas based on calendar events to ensure efficient and informed discussions.
Prepare presentations, reports, and documents for internal and external stakeholders, leveraging relevant data and insights to support decision-making.
Serve as a liaison between the CHRO, HR team, and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Efficiently respond to requests directed to the CHRO or HR leadership by promptly gathering relevant information, facilitating informed decision-making, and determining optimal next steps.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR information and matters.
Manage and coordinate HR staff meeting agendas.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate insights to support decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a HR environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, principles, and regulations.
Work Hours
- Full-time, non-exempt position
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 7.75 hrs./day; 38.75 hrs./week
Salary Structure
Pay Grade 5 (Hiring Range $19.72 to $26.13)
