LEGACY SPORTS INTERNATIONAL: A leading Distributor/Importer in the Shooting Sports Industry is seeking a Chief Operating Office (COO) with in-depth knowledge of the Shooting Sports Industry. The COO will partner with the CEO, President Sales/Marketing and a very experienced Board of Directors, to lead our firearms importation and distribution company into the next phase of its life as one of the premier firearms distributors in the US. The COO along with the President Sale/Marketing, will manage the day to day business collaboratively together. The Financial Controller, Purchasing Manager and Director Warehouse Operations will report directly to the COO.

Executive applicants should have demonstrated the ability to be responsible for driving operational excellence through logistics, products, inventory controls, people, innovative standards with proven leadership skills, strong inter-personal skills and a understanding of firearm importation into the US in compliance with ATF rules, regulations and guidelines.

Preferred applicants must be or should be executives with strong P&L Growth, Revenue Generation while improving EBITA year after year.

This role will reside in Reno, NV with US and International travel required. COO will develop future opportunities with the CEO, President Sales/Marketing and Board of Directors with continued development of its premium brands HOWA, CITADEL, POINTER, PUMA, SOUTHERN CROSS and NIKKO STIRLING.

Requirements:

Must be a current of former operational executive (COO/EVPO/VPO/GM)
Must have P&L experience while in a direct operational role
10+ years of experience in the Shooting Sports Industry
A history of successful revenue growth
Ability to build a strong operations team
Understands industry know-how
Represents the company in all interactions with customers, government and regulatory officials in a courteous and professional manner
