hrQ has partnered with an amazing, mission-driven healthcare organization who is looking for their next Chief People Officer. With its cutting-edge facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, Grand River Health is not your typical small-town hospital. It is a highly sophisticated Healthcare system with ~600 associates.

The CPO will be responsible for developing and implementing the Human Resources Strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. The position is an exciting opportunity for a human capital leader with experience in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate must be/have:

· Open to relocating to the beautiful town of Rifle, CO – just 30 minutes from Glenwood Springs and 90 minutes from the skiing paradise of Aspen.

· Seeking an opportunity to make a difference with a passion for healthcare

· HR experience with 5+ years of experience in a leadership capacity

· A bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree preferred.

· A people oriented, results driven, and dynamic people leader with experience building and managing a diverse and inclusive team of performance-oriented contributors.

· A strategic mindset with a willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and the ability to comfortably move between strategic issues and the day-to-day HR operations.

· An authentic, fun leader who will lead the team and interact with others with energy, positivity, empathy, and creativity.

· A background supporting an organization with rural employees who has experienced the challenges of recruiting, engaging, and retaining these types of employees would be a plus.

Compensation: $150K-220K range, DOE

Location: Rifle, CO

Relocation: Relocation assistance is available.
