Vice President of Human Resources

As a leader for our organization, you will ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the Human Resources Team. We will rely heavily on your expertise to provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, 401K administration, training and development, budget, and employee relations.

You will:

·Spearhead company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements

·Partner closely with Executive Leadership in creating a strategic vision of the HR suite of services to include plans and performance and approaches to achieve company goals.

·Advise leadership on any proposed new legislation or regulation that may impact the company and its employees and ensure our employee handbook is updated and consistent.

·Formulate and administer policies, procedures, and a plan to execute training and communication to employees

·Assist with Employee Relations activities including investigations, performance management, and terminations if necessary.

·Participate in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

·Work within the company’s HRIS System to maintain accuracy and coordinate setting up newly acquired businesses including gathering payroll/benefits data, & workers compensation, and other employee records

·Partner cross-functionally to implement orientation, benefits enrollment, employee engagement surveys, training, and programs that will encourage a positive employee experience.

·Work alongside third-party vendors such as attorneys, insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources.

·Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The HR Leader should bring a breadth of knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, benefits, and training and development. Along with your organizational and interpersonal and coaching skills, we look to you to bring:

·Strong knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

·Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs

·Knowledge of using a mid-market HRIS and ATS system

·At least 7-10 years of experience within HR, most of your background was spent in an HR generalist environment
