We are a manufacturer and retail business located in Sacramento looking for an experienced Controller to join our team.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition for three companies
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Reconcile the monthly bank and credit card statements
Coordinate month-end and year-end closings
Preparation and distribution of timely financial statements
Work with outside consultant on implementing financial reporting structure
Supervise accounting employees, including workload and personelle related duties
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum 5 years full-cycle accounting experience
Experienced with QuickBooks software is preferred.
Must have an understanding of GAAP and tax rules
Must have the ability to train and supervise accounting staff
Must have a can-do attitude and be willing to take on complex and ad-hoc projects

Experience:

Supervisory: 5 years (Preferred)
Full-cycle accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
Manufacturing experience (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

This is an onsite position - no remote option available.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
